EN54 FireProtect Jeweller detectors combine certified reliability with easy installation. This wireless series includes addressable smoke and heat detectors, some of which are combined with built-in sirens. Each detector offers best-in-class accurate detection thanks to Ajax's patented smoke chamber, dual-spectrum optical sensor and two accurate thermistors. With built-in communicators, long battery life and stable radio communication, the devices are ready for projects of varying sizes. There is no need to open the housing to connect cables; indeed, installation and configuration takes only minutes via the Ajax apps. Early maintenance notifications and automated maintenance reports via Ajax PRO Desktop ensure that the system will keep working for years.
The unique smoke chamber, dual-spectrum optical sensor and proprietary HazeFlow 2 software algorithm ensure fast and accurate notification of fire.
The smoke chamber is wired with a dual-spectrum optical sensor, which has blue and infrared LEDs with different wavelengths. It measures the concentration of microparticles in the air to determine the size of volatile particles in the chamber and responds only to smoke.
The HazeFlow 2 algorithm analyzes and compares data from the dual-spectrum optical sensor according to a specified pattern to distinguish smoke from vapor or steam. The detector immediately sounds an alarm if the dynamic patterns indicate a real case of fire.
